Fire crews were called to a structure fire in Punxsutawney Monday afternoon.

The flames broke out at an apartment building on the 200 block of East Liberty Street around 2:30 p.m.

Officials say no one was injured, but the building was completely destroyed.

According to officials, the building housed four apartments and eight people lived there.

Several crews from Jefferson and Clearfield counties assisted with the call.

It was a busy day for the crews as they responded to a fire in Young Township Monday morning and assisted with a large brush fire in Glen Campbell, Indiana County.
