Officials say Rep. Matt Dowling was seriously injured in a vehicle crash Wednesday evening.
According to press secretary Jason Gottesman, Dowling was involved in a single vehicle crash while traveling to a caucus event in Lancaster County.
Dowling was taken to Lancaster General Hospital where he was treated for significant trauma, Gottesman said.
Gottesman says Dowling remains in serious, but stable condition.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with Rep. Dowling, his wife and two young sons as he and they deal with his injuries,” Gottesman said.
