The Richland School District officials hosted a meeting today to further support STEM education.
STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.
Officials with the school met with the director of the Next Fab Foundation
The meeting was meant to bring together stakeholders from the industry teachers and administrators from the high school
To talk about a platform that can be used by the STEM industry in our region.
“We are looking to develop a capability within the high school to train kids in more practically oriented skills that would be aligned with requirements of local industry which in Johnstown is comprised of many advanced manufacturing.”
“We want to make sure that we are on the cutting edge of everything we are doing as far as technology education.”
The Next Fab Foundation provides access to tools, technology, & education.
