The Ridgway Ambulance Corporation is holding their Annual Membership Drive. The fundraiser started and runs through the end of March. The Ambulance’s main coverage area is Ridgway Borough, Ridgway Township, and Jones Township. One Ridgway Paramedic saying: “If you call 911 and we take you to the Hospital and we bill your insurance, insurance only pays a certain percentage. When you become a member of the Ambulance, we take that cost that is incurred that your insurance doesn’t pay and we eat that cost.”
It also serves other parts of Elk, Cameron, and Jefferson Counties.
