State police are providing new details on the investigation into a weekend tractor-trailer crash that closed a Clearfield County roadway for several hours.
Officials say Saturday evening’s crash along Route 322, in Bradford Township, was caused by a jack-knifed truck.
According to the crash report, police say the driver was reportedly traveling too fast for conditions, causing the tractor-trailer to overturn into the Eastbound lane of Woodland Bigler Highway (Route 322), near Grumblatt Lane.
Investigators say a second truck reportedly struck part of the overturned big rig.
Police say two other vehicles were also involved in a minor rear-end collision while attempting to avoid the overturned tractor-trailer.
