The Philipsburg Revitalization Corporation has received two grants to go towards rehabbing a decades old building in downtown Philipsburg.
Officials say they were awarded 60 thousand dollars to rehab two apartments in the building along North Front Street.
They also received an additional 80 thousand dollars through the state’s Department Of Community and Economic Development to renovate the first floor which will be used as an arts center and coffee shop.
Rush Township was also awarded several thousand dollars in grant money to begin rehabbing or demolishing several blighted properties around town.
