Now over to their opponent on Saturday Afternoon. Rutgers has been the surprise of the Big Ten winning 2 games so far in 2020. Way more than anybody predicted for them. The Scarlett Knights will now turn their attention to Penn State.
These two have had a history dating back to their non conference days. The Nittany Lions lead the all time series 28-2.
Greg Schiano says he would love to make this a rivalry but that takes them winning some games to get there.
“I don’t think you can say oh that’s our rival. I don’t believe in that. If we play well enough in the coming years against Penn State then it will be a natural rival because of bordering states and all that.
But, Rutgers is not given a reason yet to be Penn State’s rival. That’s up to us.”
Kickoff between the Scarlett Knights and the Nittany Lions will be at Noon Tomorrow.
