An inmate assaulted a prison staff member at SCI Houtzdale according to state police.
Investigators say the incident happened last month where Joseph Olecki punched the person multiple times causing the staff member to suffer minor injuries.
Olecki has been in jail for shooting into his girlfriend’s Blair County home in 2009.
He was also charged with 2 other shootings in Lackawanna County but that was later dismissed after a judge ruled prosecutors there had violated his right to a speedy trial.
