Penn State is locked and loaded getting ready for the 2020 season they are less than three weeks away from the start of the Big Ten schedule and one of the biggest factors can’t wait to hit the field.
And that man would be Quarterback Sean Clifford he had a great 2019 campaign throwing for over 2600 yards and 23 touchdowns while adding 5 on the ground. That performance has gotten him a lot of preseason accolades but he will be dealing with a new offensive coordinator this season.
Kirk Ciarrocca comes over from Minnesota where he led the Golden Gophers resurgence, Clifford and company hope he will do the same in Happy Valley and that all starts with a great relationship both on and off the field something they’ve already begun to build.
“It keeps growing everyday. On and off the field I’m getting to know him in so many ways. He’s an outstanding coach so far. Really changing my outlook on so many things. Made the game a lot easier for me. Excited to put that product on the field real soon.”
The Nittany Lions will continue practice throughout the rest of the week.
