Seniors Should Get All Vaccinaations

Seniors should be getting their immunizations, especially with cold and flu season approaching, health officials note that a vaccines protection can decrease as seniors age, making them vulnerable to sickness and disease.

They encourage older adults to get the following immunizations a COVID-19 vaccine, the flu vaccine, a tetanus shot and shingles vaccination.

The CDC also now recommends booster shots for adults 65 years old and older who have been fully vaccinated.
