Firefighters battled a two alarm house fire in Somerset County this morning.
The Central City Fire Department Chief says the fire broke out in the rear of a single family home on 3rd Street in Shade Township.
He says at least three residents, along with their pets, were able to escape before first responders arrived
First responders say they arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the rear of the building.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
