The launch of the Centre County Solar and Electric Vehicle Charger co-op was announced earlier this morning.
The press conference was held at the University Area Joint Authority.

“And what you see behind you is 22 acres of solar panels 5 megawatts of AC power that is generated on an annual basis and it represents about 75% of the total energy consumption of the University Area Joint Authority, so we are very close to achieving 100% renewable energy.”
The co-op is free to join for any and all residents and business owners in Centre County.
