The next phase of construction on State College’s South Atherton Street is expected to get underway within a few months.
Penndot originally said the work could mean the removal of 46 trees near the roadway.
But now they’ve dropped that number to 15 trees.
Penndot officials are due to update State College Borough Council on the project, at Tonight’s Council meeting.
Bids on the $21 million dollar South Atherton Street project go out in May.
