On Tuesday, the State College Spikes were at the Mahoning Valley Scrappers.
In the Top of the 2nd, the Spikes are down 3-0. Mark Vierling at bat with one on. He hits a two run homer, cutting the Scrappers lead to 3-2.
In the Top of the 3rd, Kenny Piper hits a double clearing the bases. He gives the Spikes the lead of 5-3. Later in the Inning, Piper comes into score off an error giving a 6-3 lead.
The Spikes keep up the pressure, going on to Win this one with a Final Score of 14-8.
