There are some changes to scheduling coming to the St. Marys Public Library.
It will reopen but by appointment only beginning Tuesday.
Residents will be allowed to browse the library, use the computers and take advantage of other services inside the building.
Several weeks ago the library went to a curbside service for customers when virus cases were on the rise in Elk County.
Clubs at the library such as Story Time and Lego Club for children, a book club for adults with physical and developmental disabilities, and social clubs have all been put on hold since the start of the pandemic.
“One thing we’re looking forward to the most is having in-person programs again. We miss having kids come in for story time.miss having Lego club, you know, just having people in the building, using it as we used to is the thing we’re looking forward to the most.”
During the pandemic, the library staff has been learning new technology, including a new program called Flipster which allows people to find online magazines.
