State College Assault

As part of a harassment investigation, State College police say they’re releasing video that shows a man shove a college student to the ground after she and another student ignored his advances.

According to the State College Police Department, the incident happened early Jan. 12 when, around 2 a.m., a white man with blonde hair and a black jacket began following two female college students from the area of Gumby’s Pizza on S. Pugh St.

Police say the man tried to have the two students go back to his place, but the women ignored his advances.

The man then ran up to one of the students and shoved her to the ground, injuring her, before running down E. Fairmount Ave. towards S. Allen St., police say.

They say he may have been at Champ’s earlier in the night.
