The State College Borough Council approved an indoor masking mandate ordinance for all borough businesses and other public facilities at their meeting tonight.
Borough officials are concerned about the recent increase in new covid cases in Centre County. And site CDC recommendations that masking be required for everyone indoors regardless of their
vaccination status.
Those in violation of the borough’s masking ordinance could be fined $300 dollars.
The new State College masking ordinance goes into effect immediately and will remain until November 22nd.
