Penn State says nearly 13-hundred students have been sanctioned for violating various COVID-19 related restrictions.
Most of the sanctions have been warnings although 10 students have been suspended from the university and another 17 have lost their on-campus housing.
In State College, borough officials say 66 people have now been issued citations for pandemic prevention related violations.
23 Of those citations have been issued in the past two weeks.
The fine for a borough violation is 300 dollars plus court costs.
