State College Borough leaders held a special meeting and a re-organizational meeting Today.
Part of the meeting was used to swear in new members.
“I think it’s important that we mask up and get vaccinated. Vaccination is proven to reduce the spread of covid. Bar none. And if you are vaccinated, even if you get covid, the
severity of your case will be lower. That is statistically proven. So I think it’s important that we have mask mandates and, if possible, vaccine mandates.”
In person attendance was limited to 30 attendees in council chambers due to public health concerns.
But others were able to watch via Zoom.
