Steelers Game Recap

Starting things off in the NFL where it is all sunshine in the Steel City right now. The Pittsburgh Steelers are off to a 3-0 start in 2020, and they got there with another late game rally.

After trailing 21-17 at the half to the Houston Texans the Black and Gold defense held Deshaun Watson and company to nothing in the 2nd half. All while Ben Roethlisberger and company where able to make the plays that they needed
especially in the 2nd half. The key of the game for Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin was the ability to contain Watson and make sure he doesn’t beat them, and that’s exactly what his team did on Sunday.

“We mixed some things up on our coverage’s and we rushed a bit differently. He was fine in escape but not enough to run, but to break down our coverages and find open spaces. We made minor technical adjustments to both the rush and the coverage and I think that was the difference.”

Up next will be a big test for the Steelers as they head to Tennessee to take on the 3-0 Titans on Sunday.
