If you didn’t catch the Yesterday’s matchup of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Kansas City Chiefs let’s just say you didn’t miss much. As the offense took yet another giant leap backwards
in the 36-10 loss at Kansas City.
Patrick Mahomes and company were dominant from the jump.
They went up on a 8 plus minute scoring drive in the first quarter and never looked back. And it was bad as the final score indicated.
The Chiefs outgained the Steelers 381-303 and the Steelers turned it over 3 times and did not force one from the Chiefs.
Kansas City owned time of possession and held the Steelers to an astounding 4.3 yards per play. That includes a late scoring drive in the fourth quarter in which Big BBen hit Diontae
Johnson with 2:54 to play for their first touchdown of the game. Which skews the numbers a bit.
The offensive line wasn’t great and the Steelers struggled to find success in the passing game against the chiefs 2 deep scheme.
Diontae Johnson said Today not to count the Steelers out and he doubled down on the scrutiny of his offensive line.
Next up for the Steelers is a big one.
They get the Cleveland Browns at home for Monday Night Football.
Kickoff set for 8:15.
