Starting things off with the National Football League where training camp continued for the Pittsburgh Steelers Today. They were once again in full pads and going full tilt but as many focus on the
veterans for the coaches, its all about the rookies.
As many know training camp is normally not real tough on established veterans but when it comes to the newcomers its all about proving themselves that’s going to be their job over the next few weeks as they battle for roster positions.
Head Coach Mike Tomlin says his focus has been on that group and how they handle situations against the big guys in front of them.
“Its not about those guys or their lack of participation for us. Its about the increased opportunities for the guys we know less about. We’re really focused on the guys getting quality reps. That’s kind of been our focus.”
The Steelers will continue camp Tomorrow.
