Across many sports talk shows today, the Steelers were a big focal point, but it was not because of the comeback that they almost had rather a celebration that occurred at the wrong
time. The Steelers trailed the Vikings by 29 points in the third quarter.
Ben Roethlisberger nearly completed a remarkable comeback that started with Najee Harris Harris at a receiving touchdown and rushing with 97 yards last night.
Trailing 2914, James Washington reeled in this 30 yard pass from Ben Roethlisberger to make it a two score game.
Though the Steelers failed the two point conversion set with four minutes, Pat Freiermuth scored his seventh touchdown, making it one score game.
Then here’s the play that everyone was talking about. Steelers have no timeouts remaining under a minute to play.
Chase Claypool converts on the fourth and one, but then decided to celebrate wasting several valuable seconds on the clock.

Overall, the Vikings won 36 to 28. When asked about the celebration afterwards, Claypool defended his action.

The Steelers had a short turnaround this past week, but now they’re going to get a much needed break. Pittsburgh will host Tennessee next Sunday.
