Steelers Update

The old saying goes change brings more change and such is now the case with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Just a day after franchise quarterback Ben Roethlisberger formally announced his retirement from pro football after 18 seasons team owner Art Rooney 2nd confirmed that GM
Kevin Colbert will be stepping down after the 2022 NFL Draft in April.

Rooney did say that the door will be left open for Colbert to fill an ongoing role after the draft but for now the search for the next general manager has already begun.

Colbert has had immense success in his time in Pittsburgh.

Lets get a look at the resume of Colbert’s time with the Steelers.

22 Seasons with the Black and Gold 10 years as Director of Football Operations took over as General Manager in 2010

One Super Bowl appearance in that time

But in all was with the Steelers for 2 Super Bowl wins and 3 AFC Championships
