More news for the Ravens and Steelers game. Both teams had memebrs test postivie for COVID Today. The Ravens have seen positive test all throughout the week. They now have 18 total players out for the virus.
According to NFL Senior Insider Adam Schefter, the Steelers reported additional positive COVID-19 cases on Saturday.
Schefter says that one player and one coach tested positive, and that there are multiple close contacts to be monitored.
According to NFL Network reporter Aditi Kinkhabwala, the player who has tested positive is running back James Conner.
Kinkhabwala says that Conner is awaiting a second test on Sunday to confirm the results.
The Steelers placed Conner on the COVID-19/Reserve list Saturday, according to a team release.
Adam Schefter also reported that the Ravens added an additional six players to their COVID-19/Reserve list on Saturday.
Pittsburgh’s Week 12 game against the Baltimore Ravens has already been rescheduled twice, due to the outbreak within the Ravens’ organization, and the game is supposed to be played Tuesday night on NBC.
With new positive cases being reported in Pittsburgh and Baltimore, the status of Tuesday’s game may be in jeopardy.
