Steelers Update

Now over the nfl where the Pittsburgh Steelers are getting ready for week 17 against the Cleveland Browns. The Black and Gold will be aiming for the #2 overall seed in the AFC and a bye in the 1st round of the playoffs.

And they’ll have to do so without starting QB Ben Roethlisberger who will sit out for rest. Mason Rudolph will now take over the reigns for the game in Cleveland. Roethlisberger is coming off a big comeback win against the Colts last week that clinched the division.

And Big Ben says this week is all about helping his backup pick up another win against the Browns.

“Kind of like last year. That’s the approach I’m going to take. I don’t want to step on anyone’s toes but I want to be available for questions and to help with my input to Coach Randy, Coach Canada whatever it may be. I’ve already talked to Mason about that. That’s going to be my role this week is to be there and answer questions and to be a help to them to get them prepared for this game.”

Kickoff with the Browns will be at 1 on Sunday.
