Steelers vs. Texans

The Pittsburgh Steelers looked to go 3-0 to start the Season for first time since 2010, the same year as their last Super Bowl appearance. On Sunday, they faced off against the winless Houston Texans. To the North Shore and Heinz Field we go.

A big QB match-up with Big Ben and Deshaun Watson, both had the aerial game going in this one. It was the Texans who started out strong as Watson gets hit as he throws but he finds Randall Cobb for the Touchdown. The Texans also got a running Touchdown from David Johnson, and they were up 14-3 halfway through the 2nd Quarter. But Big Ben gets in on the action and finishes off a 12 play drive by finding Eric Ebron for the Touchdown. Makes it 14-10.

Then with a little over a minute in the half he finds a wide open JuJu Smith-Schuster for a 26 yd TD. Makes it 17-14. But the Texans quickly got down the field before the half and Watson finds will Fuller. Texans up at the half. Steelers got a Field Goal in the 3rd, and in the 4th Watson nailed as he throws and it’s intercepted by Mike Hilton. That set up another 12 play drive that ended with James Conner scampering in for the Touchdown. They get the 2 and they hold on for the 28-20 win.
