Police in Freedom Township are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Sunday morning and are searching for the victim’s dog who was stolen during the incident.

Police say the 17-year-old victim was walking his dog, around 7:30 a.m. Sunday, near the intersection of Leberfinger Road and Speck Road in East Freedom, when he was approached by two men in a dark blue pickup truck who pointed pistols at him and demanded money.

Investigators say the victim did not have any money to give them so they took his dog and fled.

The make or model of the truck is unknown at this time but the driver is described as being 6 feet tall, stocky build, with a deep voice, and was wearing a skull mask.

Police say the passenger is described as a person of smaller build and was wearing an animal mask at the time of the incident.
