St Vincent de Paul’s Food for Families Soup Kitchen in Altoona was the winner in the Stuckey Automotive Food Bank Challenge.
Today, representatives for several local Blair County dealerships presented the nonperishable food items they collected from October this morning to the soup kitchen.
“And we’re very happy we have a big Christmas giveaway every year, 500 families. So these five dealerships coming together today from our community means the world to us with all the food they collected, and it’s going to help us on our give away day on the 23rd of this this month.”
Teams from Dean Patterson Automotive, Altoona Honda and Five Star Mitsubishi joined with Stuckey Automotive for the Food Bank Challenge.
