Also in Huntingdon County a man charged with attempted murder has asked a judge for a non jury trial.
Talen Trice was charged with attempted first degree murder arson and other assault related charges coming from an incident in July of 2020.
Mount Union Police say Trice was seen leaving the scene of what was initially reported as a crash with a fire near Mount Union High School’s softball field and boat launch.
A victim was found by the car with several stab wounds and severe burns
Trice fled the scene but was later arrested in Altoona.
His bail was denied and he remains in the Huntingdon County Prison.
