Bellefonte police are also investigating a criminal mischief incident that took place at the new section of Talleyrand Park.
Police say around 1:30 this morning someone vandalized a water fountain that was dedicated to the late Gino Fornicola a longtime resident and respected member of the community.
The stone fountain was pulled to the ground causing damage to a majority of the fountain.
