There was an hours-long standoff with police Yesterday in Blair County.
This was the scene on Washington Avenue in Tyrone.
Tyrone police say a report came in to them that a man who was temporarily staying at the home had stolen the resident’s gun and was demanding money from him.
After the suspect made several threats including shooting the resident & shooting up a school the victim & 2 other residents were able to escape.
Police have identified the suspect as 27-year-old Shaquille Williams.
They tell us he remained in the home for close to 4 hours before agreeing to come out.
He was placed under arrest and taken to the Blair County Prison.
