A decision will be made in a month or two on the possibilIty of new flights from the University Park Airport to Charlotte, North Carolina.
A group of Centre County officials recently met with representatives from American Airlines to lobby the airline to add the new service.
Included in the county proposal is several hundred thousand dollars to help the airline pay upfront costs if the new flights to Charlotte are added.
