In the past week at at Penn State’s University Park campus 523 new covid cases were reported among students and staff.
In total just over 6200 tests were administered.
During the first 2 weeks of the Spring semester the number of new cases on campus has increased significantly. However, the University continues with an in class format.
According to Penn State, close to 90 percent of the students and staff report being vaccinated against covid.
