We have the latest now on a homicide trial for a Clearfield County woman — who is accused of conspiring to kill her ex-husband — is now underway.
Last year, Police arrested Danielle Parks in connection to the shooting death of her ex-husband, Kodey Parks — at a home in Morris Township. Police say Parks claims to have acted in self-defense, but Prosecutors allege that she and her boyfriend, Bryan Michaelis — conspired to kill her ex, and then reportedly attempted to get rid of the evidence.
Police also allege that Parks repeatedly changed her story during the investigation. Now, according to court records, opening statements were delivered Monday with testimony beginning Tuesday. Parks’s trial is expected to last through this Friday. And as for Michaelis, he is being tried separately with a Trial date not yet scheduled. His Jury Selection is tentatively set for April 10th.
