Extreme heat and dry conditions are only fueling raging Wildfires in the West Coast. 78 Large Fires across 13 States are blazing through more than a Million Acres.
In Oregon, the State is suffering record-breaking triple-digit temperatures and a severe drought. Nearly 475,000 Acres have been scorched in the State alone. The ‘Bootleg Fire’ is only about 30% Contained and is so large it’s creating its own weather. Chief Doug Grafe of the Oregon Department of Forestry saying: “This is not going to return to normal anytime soon.”
More than 20,000 Firefighters and Support Personnel are battling the raging Wildfires. The mission seemingly has no end in sight.
