Wolf Not Extending Retrictions

Gov. Tom Wolf and Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine provided an update Wednesday on the coronavirus in Pennsylvania and the latest mitigation efforts.

Earlier in the month, Gov. Wolf announced additional mitigation efforts including prohibiting indoor dining at bars and restaurants until after the holidays.

Those set of restrictions are scheduled to expire Monday at 8 a.m. and Gov. Wolf confirmed that he will let them expire.

Wolf says COVID-19 restrictions that were in place before Dec. 12 will remain in place.

The restrictions that will remain in place include Wolf’s mask-wearing order, event gatherings based on venue capacity and the restaurant certification process.

Gov. Wolf and Dr. Levine both highlighted the state’s new COVID-19 vaccination dashboard that will provide county-by-county data on Pennsylvania’s vaccine distribution process.
