Woman Arrest for Cough Assault

Frustrations over the Coronavirus boiling over across the State. A Pennsylvania Woman has been arrested for intentionally coughing on a Nurse. Police say Jessica Saul became agitated while waiting outside an Urgent Care Center in Berks County. The Woman said she was experiencing COVID-19 symptoms and for safety reasons, a Nurse asked her to wait in her car until a room was available. Police say Saul became upset, lowered her mask, and coughed directly in the Nurse’s face. Police say her saliva landed in the Nurse’s eyes and Saul shouted, quote: “Take that.”

Officer Frank Cataldi of the Tilden Township Police Department saying: “Especially during a Pandemic like this, we want to make sure we’re protecting our Nurses, Healthcare Workers and Frontline Staff. They’re doing a lot for us and we want to make sure they’re taken care of.”

The Suspect faces Charges of Reckless Endangerment of Another Person and Disorderly Conduct.
