Robert Farwell was found with a stab wound outside a home in Woodward early Thursday Morning.
He died a short time later.
Police say a woman admits to stabbing Farwell in what’s termed a domestic incident.
She claims the two got into an argument with Farwell threatening to kill her and he was stabbed, when he lunged at her while she was holding a steak knife.
Today Centre County coroner Scott Sayers confirmed Farwell died from a single stab wound to the chest.
The woman also told police her 4 year old child was in the home during the deadly incident.
Police are continuing their investigation.
