Imler Standoff Update

State police in Bedford have released new details about what led to an 18-hour standoff last week.

Officials say on Thursday Night, trooper arrived at a home in the 1200 block of Schellsburg Road in Kimmel Township to serve an extradition warrant for Matthew Lehman.

According to the affidavit, Dana Grabill told police that Lehman was not in the home, while speaking with officers, Lehman tried to leave through the back door.

Once he saw troopers he retreated back into the home. Police say Lehman barricaded himself inside with Dana Grabill and Eileen Grabill.

A state police SERT team was called in, and police learned two teenage children were also in the home.

Just before 3 Friday Afternoon, Eileen Grabill exited the home and was taken into custody, followed by Lehman and Dana Grabill a short time later. They’re being housed at the Bedford County Prison.
