A Cambria County man is facing charges after he allegedly threatened his family members with a gun last month.
Police say on January 21st 27-year-old Matthew Mikesic pointed a gun at two family members and threatened to kill them at his Decker Avenue home in Johnstown.
Police say he also sent text messages to various individuals to come to his residence because the television was telling him to kill people.
Police say the suspect surrendered to authorities without incident and he was transported to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center for a mental health evaluation.
Mikesic has been charged with multiple offenses, including felony counts for aggravated assault.
He is being housed in the Cambria County Prison with his bail denied.
