State police say a Centre County woman was killed over the weekend in a motorcycle crash in Boggs Township.
Troopers say the crash occurred just before 9:30 p.m. on Saturday near the intersection of Route 150 (North Eagle Valley Road) and Curtin Hollow Road.
According to the crash report, the operator of the motorcycle, a 52-year-old Blanchard man, was reportedly traveling northbound when he locked up the brakes and crossed into the opposite lane of travel.
Investigators say the motorcycle then overturned and slid a short distance across the roadway.
Police say the passenger of the motorcycle, 49-year-old Barbara Frigo, also of Blanchard, suffered fatal injuries in the crash.
Authorities say the operator was flown to Geisinger Hospital in Danville with suspected serious injuries.
