Jury selection began Monday for a Huntingdon County double homicide trial.
Morico Johnson faces two counts of criminal homicide in the 2009 deaths of Beatrice Daniels and her niece Christine McWhorter.
Investigators say the two women were found shot in the head while lying in bed inside their Mount Union home.
The investigation spanned 13 years, leading to the 2022 arrest of Johnson in Virginia.
Investigators say blood found at the scene matched DNA provided by Johnson.
Johnson’s trial is scheduled to begin Tuesday at 9 a.m., if a jury is seated by then.
