A Mingoville man is behind bars in Centre County after he allegedly tried to gouge another man’s eyes out during an altercation.
Just after midnight Saturday, State Police found a man with severe bleeding from his face at a residence along Elderberry Lane in Huston Township.
Police say 36 year old Anthony Bruno attacked the man and his stepdaughter at a Quarry Lane home
When the two tried to intervene in a fight between Bruno and another woman.
Police say during the fight Bruno attempted to gouge the man’s eyes out before being restrained and locked out of the home.
Bruno faces multiple offenses including a felony for aggravated assault.
He is being held in the Centre County Correctional Facility with his bail denied.
