An investigation is underway in Blair County after two people were accidentally struck by gunfire early yesterday morning.
Police say it happened along the 100 block of East 4th Avenue around 2:30 Sunday Morning.
Altoona Police say an argument broke out among a group of people over a newly purchased shotgun.
Police say several people started to wrestle over the firearm, leading to it accidentally discharging.
Investigators say two people were struck by ricocheting buckshot and suffered minor injuries.
They add that a person of interest has been identified in the incident and are working to determine whether charges should be filed.
