WNBA star Brittney Griner and her wife Cherelle are expecting their 1st child.
The couple announced the news on social media on Saturday and said they are less than 3 months away from becoming new parents.
The baby is due in July.
The 33 year old Griner is about to start her 11th year in the league.
She re-signed with the Phoenix Mercury.
Earlier this month, Griner had her career disrupted in 2022 when Russian authorities detained her on a drug charge while she was overseas, she was eventually freed
