State police have filed charges against a Brookville man after he allegedly admitted to having repeated sexual contact with a teenage girl in Crawford County.
According to the affidavit, police say the teen reportedly described one incident in which Gage Rowe, now age 22, allegedly sexually assaulted her when she was 15.
Troopers say the teen noted that she was reportedly under the influence of edibles at the time of the alleged assault.
Investigators say police later questioned Rowe about the accusations, at which time he reportedly admitted to “regularly” engaging in sexual activity with the teen, despite being aware of her age.
According to online court records, Rowe was arraigned earlier this month on various charges, including statutory sexual assault, indecent assault, unlawful contact and corruption of minors.
