A new Warden has been named for the Clearfield County Correctional Facility.
Dave Rupprecht was formally announced as the new Warden of the facility by the Clearfield County Prison Board last night.
This comes after Clearfield County Commissioners announcing in December that David Gallahger was fired.
The facility faced scrutiny in recent months after several incidents of escaped inmates.
Officials say Rupprecht is expected to begin his new role as Warden on March 4th.
Rupprecht currently serves as the Security Captain at the Moshannon Valley Ice Processing Center in Philipsburg.
