The Kepler Community Swimming Pool, near Bellefonte got a major funding boost in efforts to refurbish and reopen it.
A new state grant of more than 1.3 million dollars has been awarded to the organization overseeing the pool construction work.
A separate fundraiser is also underway, in hopes the pool can be reopened next year.
