A Johnstown woman was back in court Today and is now one step closer to trial. Today Arlaya Morris waived her preliminary hearing.
She’s accused of shooting and killing Edward West outside of 3 Reds Tavern in Hornerstown.
West was found in the early morning hours of April 3rd and pronounced dead at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.
Investigators say Morris followed West to the parking lot from the Elk’s lodge before shooting him multiple times.
Her formal arraignment is now scheduled for June 14th.
